What is Architecture?

With an Architecture Degree you will prepare the drawings, plans, specifications and other construction documentation. You will be responsible to administer these documents during construction. Observing the progress of the work and processing changes, requests for payments and a variety of other approvals and reviews are a part of the Architect's responsibility. You will be able to provide pre-design services, planning, programming, interior design and post construction services. As the primary design professional on a project, you will assume professional responsibility for coordinating all of the design decisions in the project.
For this you will need to complete a course of study in building and design, serve an internship and pass a test to be licensed by the state.
